Web Accessibility Statement
-
The Roxbury School District strives to ensure that the information on our website is accessible to all members of our local and extended learning community, including individuals with visual, hearing or cognitive disabilities.
We are working to the best of our abilities to ensure efforts are made to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
The majority of pages on our site are available in HTML format which can be deciphered by screen readers. Some documents are in Adobe PDF format, which may require a PDF reader to view. We are working to save our PDF files in formats that are more accessible to different readers.
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we, as a district, have adopted the Ally accessibility monitoring platform, and strive to do our best to upload content that is accessible to a wide array of viewers. We are working as a district to update pages to make them more accessible as we migrate to our newer site template.
If you are unable to access any page or pages on our site, please email us at webmaster@roxbury.org.
Please note that some pages on the Roxbury websites contain links to third-party sites, which are not within our control and may not comply with accessibility standards. The district is not responsible for the content or accessibility of third-party sites.
