Eisenhower Middle School follows the "teaming model" common in high performing middle schools. Here, each grade is divided into three houses or "teams." Each team has an English Language Arts teacher, a math teacher, a science teacher, and a social studies teacher. These four teachers share the same group of students that rotate among them throughout the day. Team teachers meet on a routine basis to collaborate, communicate regarding issues that arise and concerns about students, confer with Child Study Team members and Guidance counselors, and hold student or parent meetings, when necessary.
