Family Event: RHS Bands Holiday Pops Concert on Dec. 10
ROXBURY, NJ (November 30, 2022) – Join the Roxbury High School Honors Wind Symphony for its Fourth Annual Holiday Pops Concert featuring a program of all holiday music on Saturday, December 10th at 3 p.m. in the Roxbury High School auditorium located at 1 Bryant Drive in Succasunna, NJ. The snow date will be Sunday, December 11th at 3 p.m.
“As a father of two young children (ages 8 and 5), I wanted to create a concert accessible to our youngest audience members,” shared Jeff Conrad, RHS Director of Bands.
The anticipated length of the concert program will be about 30 minutes.
For our youngest members, this is not a “sit down” concert. Children are allowed and encouraged to get up from their seats and move during the performance!
“I know my son and daughter loved dancing in front of the stage last year with a group of other children.”
Following the performance, there will be a reception in the cafeteria featuring light refreshments and holiday craft stations for young audience members.
Admission is free to all, but we will be collecting items for donation to Roxbury Social Services. Donations to the Roxbury Band program will be accepted as well.
