Mr. Christopher Argenziano

Work Experience:

I have been fortunate to work in the field of education since 2003. After graduating from Rowan University, I was hired by the East Brunswick Public School District as a Social Studies Teacher.  I spent close to 10 years teaching at the high school level while acting  as the advisor for the Student Council Club and the Future Business Leaders of America Club, as well as, the Leader for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Committee.  Starting in 2012, I was afforded the opportunity to be the Assistant Principal at Lincoln Roosevelt School.  For approximately five years, I served in various capacities as a student liaison. After several years in the district, I was hired as the Principal in 2017.  I have enjoyed the role ever since because of working with such a great student body, staff, and community.

Philosophy:

One of my favorite interview questions to prospective teachers for hire is, “What is your educational motto?”  I believe that this question, which embodies their educational philosophy, tells a lot about a person’s desire to succeed as an educator. If asked that question, my answer would be, “A successful educational institution is one that partners with the teaching staff, students and the community to create a safe atmosphere where children can learn and grow, with opportunities for them to experience success.”

Education addresses the many challenges that we all experience throughout our lives.  Those challenges are the ones that teach us how to succeed.  In schools, opportunities to succeed come with supports designed to help and foster growth. As a community, our school must work with our stakeholders to provide an environment which adapts to the needs of our learners.  In conjunction, our students need to be active participants in their own learning and take advantage of the supports available to them so that they may grow academically, socially, and emotionally.  In short, the entire process is a team effort.
