After-School with Mad Science (Grades K-4)

Mad Science is the world's largest science enrichment provider. We pride ourselves on the unique and interactive way of teaching students how to make science fun! Using an extremely hands-on and enthusiastic approach, we give students the chance to become Mad Scientists. We have FUN down to a science!

Enroll today! Space is limited! The program must have a minimum of thirteen (13) students to run at each location. 

Please look at the days/dates carefully, as there are no makeup classes for individual absences. Makeup classes will only be scheduled for canceled classes. Students must take classes in the school in which they attend, except for the spring break camp.

Fall 2024 - STEM Odyssey (Grades K-4)

STEM Odyssey: Embark on an exhilarating journey with STEM Odyssey, where curious kids dive into the wonders of science through eight electrifying adventures! From unlocking the mysteries of the heat with "Harnessing Heat" to exploring the vibrant world of color in "Lights...Color...Action!" and unraveling the secrets of sound in "Sonic Sounds," each hands-on experience promises fun and discovery. Kids will be mesmerized by "Magnetic Magic," amazed by "Optical Illusions," captivated by "Smelly Science," and energerized by "Mission: Nutrition." Join us and watch as young scientists ignite their imaginations and fuel their passion for STEM in this unforgettable odyssey!

COST: $175/student for 6 weeks

TIME: 3:20-4:20 p.m. (1 Hour)

• Kennedy School - (Wednesdays) Oct 16, 30, Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 4 (No classes 10/23 and 11/27)
• Nixon School - (Tuesdays) Oct 15, 29, Nov 12, 19, Dec 3, 10, 2024 (No classes 11/05 and 11/26)

The Roxbury Community School is self-sufficient and a course/program must pay for itself. If there are not enough registrants, the course/program will be canceled. The Coordinator reserves the right to remove from class those individuals who have not paid tuition.

There are no refunds for courses/camps AFTER the program starts. All cancellations must be received in writing to comschool@roxbury.org at least seven days prior to the start of the class for a refund. After that date, there will be no refunds.
