Work Experience: I have worked in the education field since the fall of 2008, shortly after graduating from The College of New Jersey with my bachelor's degree in English Secondary Education.  From 2008 until 2019, I taught English Language Arts to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students, in addition to taking on additional roles as an ELA instructional coach.  In January 2019, I joined Lincoln Roosevelt School as Assistant Principal, where I have had the opportunity to work alongside outstanding educators.  In February 2022, I became the Principal of Franklin Elementary School where I am excited to work with staff and parents to help all students succeed.

Philosophy: I believe the purpose of the school is to help students achieve success and accomplish greatness.  In order to help foster this success, students must be supported academically, socially, and emotionally.  When students recognize that they are supported and valued, they are provided the greatest opportunity to do their best as they learn and grow.

Who I Am: My wife and I live in Somerville, NJ with our two sons.  I enjoy reading, going for walks in town, watching my favorite sports teams (Go Devils!), visiting different MLB ballparks, and spending time with my family and friends.
