Work Experience:

The 2024-2025 school year marks my 24th year in education.  I taught middle school and high school Social Studies for a total of 10 years in Pompton Lakes, Wildwood, Mountain Lakes, and Roxbury. This will be my 14th year as a school leader, with all 14 years spent in Roxbury. I served as an assistant principal at Roxbury High School for 3 years, and as the principal at Eisenhower Middle School for 4 years, and I am entering my 7th year as the principal at Roxbury High School.

In addition to my roles as a teacher and school leader, I have an extensive coaching background.  I have coached football for student-athletes from kindergarten to college.  I have coached football for student-athletes from kindergarten to college, and have also coached field hockey, wrestling, boys and girls basketball, baseball, and lacrosse.  My diverse experiences have provided me with a variety of perspectives and have allowed me to work with students from 5-22.

Philosophy

I believe all students can learn.   In education, it is crucial to understand that each child learns differently throughout any lesson. It is imperative that we educate the whole child.  Supporting our students emotionally, socially, and academically will provide the students of Roxbury High School with the opportunity to learn in all aspects of life.
