Eighteen Roxbury Students Make All-State Honors Choir

ROXBURY, NJ (May 31, 2024) - Eighteen Roxbury High School Choir students were selected to the New Jersey All State Honors Choir. This prestigious ensemble is made up of the top singers across the state of New Jersey. Roxbury also had four students place in the top ten of their voice part.

The following students were selected for the New Jersey All State Mixed Choir: Kaleigh Bodtmann, Jennifer Buczynski, David Doherty (#6 Bass 2), Colleen Feeney (#4 Soprano 2), Derek Gatto, Gavin Gardner, Jaiden Lenihan (#8 Bass 2), Elizabeth Ricucci, Samuel Rippon, Diego Rodriguez, Caden Scire, Nicholas Spivak, and Lillia Vega.

The following students were selected for the New Jersey All State Treble Choir: Jasper Fernandes, Grace Hill, Cassandra Maningo, Catherine Turro (#6 Alto 2), and Breena Van Hook.

This is a huge accomplishment for these students who worked hard to prepare and record auditions in order to earn this honor. The purpose of NJ All-State Chorus is to offer a unique educational experience to the best-qualified vocal students in New Jersey. Accepted students will perform choral literature of the highest quality, under the direction of an outstanding conductor. The NJ All State Mixed Choir will perform at the NJ Performing Arts Center in November and the All State Treble Choir will have their concert in February.
