Security Department

  • Mission Statement

    The Security Department is responsible for the safety, security and well-being of all Roxbury School District students, faculty, staff and property. Our goal is to provide a safe school environment so that the school district is prepared to properly respond to emergencies.

    Our Security Goals are accomplished by:

    • Maintaining a close relationship with school administration to assist them with their efforts in enforcing Board of Education Policies and Procedures.
    • Assisting in the development of crisis plans, building security initiatives and training for school personnel in handling of crisis situations.
    • Developing a response plan  for all hazards in cooperation with our local first responders.

    We will display professional conduct as we execute our responsibilities to ensure an overall safe educational environment.
