Kristin Germinario Mongelli, a proud Roxbury High School graduate (Class of 2006), joined the Roxbury Curriculum and Instruction team in January 2025. She holds a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Visual Art (2010), and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Drew University, (2011) as well as the NJ Excel Supervisor and Principal Certification (2020). She previously worked as the Supervisor of Science Grades 6-12 in New Brunswick Public Schools (2022 - 2025) and as a high school biology teacher and instructional coach in Randolph Public Schools (2011 - 2022).

A Knowles Teacher Initiative Fellow, Kristin is passionate about fostering creativity across all subjects, including project-based learning and integrating design thinking into learning experiences. Outside of her professional role, Kristin enjoys yoga, drawing and design, and hiking at national parks with her husband and daughter. Kristin is thrilled to return to Roxbury, where she looks forward to supporting science, engineering, and visual art education for all students.
